BMT InfoNet Patient Assistance Fund provides a one-time grant to help transplant and CAR T-cell therapy patients with non-medical expenses during treatment.
Who can apply?
- Patients living in the U.S who will have, or had in the last 24 months (2 years):
- a transplant using your own bone marrow or stem cells
- a bone marrow or stem cell transplant using cells from a related donor
- CAR-T cell therapy
- Patients with graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) who are 12 or more months post-transplant.
The application must be completed and submitted by a social worker or other transplant or CAR T-cell team member who certifies that the patient needs financial assistance.
Grants will be considered:
- Day 1 of transplant or CAR T-cell therapy or during the 24 months after
- For patients diagnosed with GVHD, beginning 12 months after transplant
